§ Captain HACKINGThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The height of the room is rather more than eight feet and the accommodation is adequate for the staff in occupation, no complaints of smoking fireplaces have been received and the fireplaces are believed to be satisfactory. It is not proposed to provide alternative accommodation.
