§ Sir S. HOAREIt is too early to discuss the details of the organisation of a regular air service between the Cape and Cairo. An experimental air service is to commence early next year on the portion of the route between Khartoum and Kisumu, and further experimental flights are to be carried out by Service aircraft on other portions of the route to connect, so far as possible, with this service. The information obtained from these experiments will, of course, be utilised for the subsequent development, when possible, of a through route on commercial lines, an object which will be kept in view throughout.
