Mr. DAVIDSONThe visit to the Atlantic Fleet of the Dominion Premiers and friends was arranged to give our overseas visitors an opportunity of seeing the Fleet engaged in its ordinary duties at sea. The firing and other exercises were part of those which the Fleet is required to carry out normally in the course of the year, and the fuel, ammunition, etc., expended were specially reserved for the occasion from the annual allowances, and involved no extra cost whatever.
