§ Sir W. BULLasked the Attorney General whether, having regard to the fact that in February, 1925, the Solicitor-General stated that the Committee appointed in December, 1921, by the Lord Chancellor to consider the position of the Crown as a litigant had made substantial progress in the consideration of the matter, he is in a position now to afford information as to when the Report is likely to be issued or any legislation on the subject is likely to be introduced?
§ The ATTORNEY-GENERALI cannot at present indicate when the Report of the Committee is likely to be issued. The matter is in abeyance at present, owing to the death of the Treasury solicitor.
