§ Mr. NEVILLE CHAMBERLAINOn the basis of the figures used in the Government Actuary's Report on the Bill, the number of spinsters in Great Britain under the age of 30, in respect of whom 1399W contributions under the Contributory Pensions Act are being paid, is about 2,600,000. The corresponding number of aged 30 and over is approximately 950,000.
