§ Mr. BETTERTONI have been asked to reply. The number of bricklayers in the building trades insured under the Unemployment Insurance Acts is estimated at 69,000 at August, 1913, and 905W 56,500 at July, 1924. Both these figures are estimates; an actual count of unemployment books gave a figure of 64,260 for July, 1925. In addition, there are considerable, numbers of bricklayers employed outside the building trades, but statistics of these are not available.
