HC Deb 11 March 1926 vol 192 cc2628-9W
Marquess of TITCHFIELD

asked the Minister of Pensions what arrangements are made for the payment of pensions to ex-service men when they have migrated, or are about to migrate, to the Dominions?

Major TRYON

On intimation being given of an ex-service man's intention to emigrate to one of the British Dominions, the Ministry make all arrangements necessary to enable him to obtain payment of his pension through the Ministry representative in the place to which he is going. I may add that officers of my Department are sent out from time to time to see that these arrangements are working smoothly. Reports I have received are satisfactory, and I am glad to take this opportunity of acknowledging the cordial help and co-operation which I have always received from the Dominion Governments.
