§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONI understand my hon. and learned Friend to refer to a scheme for the allocation of promotions to overseerships in London as between sorters and head postmen respectively, which has been under discussion with the staff associations concerned for some time past. Arrangements have now been made to put the scheme into force early in April.
