HC Deb 04 March 1926 vol 192 c1636W
Mr. MONTAGUE

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether women appointed as commissioners and assistant commissioners to the National Savings Committee for specialist external propaganda duties are employed on ordinary clerical work at the headquarters of the National Savings Committee; and, if so, whether steps will be taken to place these women on the work for which they were engaged and for which they are paid?

Mr. McNEILL

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The second part therefore does not arise.
