§ Mr. CAMPBELLasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that, although the London Master Bakers' Protection Society and the Incorporated Society of Principal Wholesale and Retail Bakers have recommended that from 23rd February the price of the 4 lb.-loaf should be 9½d. in accordance with the Food Council's fair charges scale, some bakers in the London area are still charging 10d., 1639W although at other shops in the Metropolis it is possible to obtain the same loaf for 9d.; and whether he will take action in the matter?
