asked the Minister of Health if he could furnish the number of families living in one-room tenements in the Borough of Acton, Middlesex, and the number in two-room tenements?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

According to the 1921 Census 946 private families (comprising a population of 1,859) were returned as each occupying one room in the Borough of Acton, and 1,383 private families (comprising a population of 4,098) were returned as each occupying two rooms.
