STEEL-MAITLANDThe total number of individual boys and girls who attended juvenile unemployment centres during the period 1st April, 1925–5th February, 1926, was 63,734, and the average daily attendance during the same period was 7,078. No statistics are available with regard to the number of juveniles placed in employment from these centres. The average weekly number of boys and girls registered for employment1460W in Great Britain during the period was 66,639.
