asked the Minister of Health the number and amount of advances made under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Act by the respective local authorities in the county of London during the years 1923, 1924 and 1925, respectively?

The following table shows the number of houses and (a) the amounts of advances agreed to be made direct by the London County Council, and (b) loans sanctioned by the London County Council for the purposes of advances by Metropolitan borough councils, under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Act, during the three years in question:
