Mr. GUINNESSThe councils of counties and county boroughs are the statutory authorities for the provision of small holdings in England and Wales, and applications for holdings should be addressed to the clerk of the council concerned. Most councils, however, already have a waiting list, so that they may not be able to deal with new applications immediately. The only estate directly managed by the Ministry in which there are likely to be small holdings available for letting in the near future is at Sutton Bridge, and applications should be addressed to the Director, Estate Office, Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire.
