§ Earl WINTERTONThe recommendation was that the governing body of the International Labour Office, in consultation with the Governments concerned, should undertake, so far as is possible, a documentary inquiry into the conditions of labour in Asiatic countries, more especially in China, India, Japan, Persia and Siam, and in the Colonies, Protectorates and Mandated Territories in Asia. The International Labour Office is engaged in the inquiry.
