§ Mr. D. GRENFELLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether a recommendation will be made by His Majesty's Government that the subcommittee of the preparatory Commission appointed by the League of Nations to draw up plans for a disarmament conference should hold their meetings in public?
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONThe point is one which affects the procedure of the sub-committee on which it is difficult for anyone not taking part in its deliberations to form an opinion. His Majesty's 2337W Government do not propose to give any instructions on the point to the British representatives.
