GILMOURThe Agricultural Returns Act, 1925, under which the annual agricultural returns are now obtained does not empower the Board of Agriculture to require the occupiers of agricultural land to furnish such particulars as are mentioned in the question. Apart from particulars of acreage and livestock the occupier can only be required to furnish particulars of the persons employed, showing separately the numbers of persons in regular and in casual employment.
