§ Mr. CHURCHILLI regret that under the present system of charging the Income Tax it is impossible to classify the Income Tax payers by ranges of total income. The only information available as to the numbers of persons in receipt of high incomes is that published regarding the Super-tax, and the hon. and gallant Member will find the latest particulars in Table 74 on page 109 of the 68th Report of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue (Command Paper 2547).
