§ Colonel LANE FOXAccording to the latest information available there are in Great Britain 1,417 undertakings com-1636W prising coal mines of which 927 are limited liability companies. I cannot say what is the total number of directors of these companies, but some information on this subject is to be found in Table 9 of Appendix 18, Volume 3 of the Report of the recent Royal Commission.
