CHADW1CKThe steamer "London Mariner" on her previous outward voyage, carried no wireless operator, and an American operator holding a first class United States of America certificate was signed on at Philadelphia, it being a condition of his engagement that he was to be returned to the United States. The ship therefore returned to Philadelphia with this operator on board, and carried in addition a fully qualified British operator, holding a first class certificate, and two wireless watchers.
