HC Deb 25 February 1926 vol 192 c758W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce a Bill dealing with the marking of imported farm or dairy farm produce; and, if so, whether he intends to allot time for its discussion?

The PRIME MINISTER

The President of the Board of Trade has already given notice of his intention to introduce a Merchandise Marks Bill this Session. This Bill will be a comprehensive Measure and will allow of provision being made for the marking of imported farm and dairy produce. The Government hope that the Bill will be passed into law this year.
