Mr. JOHNSTON

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, seeing

PARTICULARS OF THE NUMBER OF EMIGRANTS AND IMMIGRANTS, as distinct from passengers, were not obtained before 1st April, 1912. The balances outward of passengers of British nationality from the United Kingdom to Canada, Australia and New Zealand (the only measure available for all the years specified in the question), were as follows:
