§ Mr. A. M. SAMUELI understand that the conditions, under which the Lena Goldfields are working, are governed by an agreement between the Company and the Soviet Government, which was signed on 30th April and ratified on 14th November, 1925. With regard to the second part of the question, I have no other information beyond that contained in the advertisement which appeared in the British Press on the 10th February last.
