HC Deb 15 February 1926 vol 191 c1551W
Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, in view of the economies being made in the home dockyards, which involve the dispersal, and in some cases the deterioration of British personnel, whose services may at any moment be required again in the national interest, he can recommend that expenditure at Singapore he discontinued and spent in this country for the benefit of the home dockyards and dockyardsmen?

Mr. DAVIDSON

The answer is in the negative.
