asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury how many persons were employed in the Board of Inland Revenue, Board of Trade, Foreign Office, Treasury, Board of Customs, Ministry of Health, War Office, Admiralty, and Home Office in 1913 and 1925, respectively?

Figures for 1913 are not now available. The number of non-Industrial staff employed in these Departments on 1st August, 1914, and 1st October, 1925, was as follows:
