§ Mr. RENNIE SMITHasked the Secretary of State for War how many universities and colleges, public schools, secondary and higher schools, respectively, have Cadet Corps, and the amount of State grant made in respect of such cadet corps in the current financial year; and what is the public expenditure for this purpose, if any, during each of the years 1909–14 and each of the years 1919–24?
§ Captain KINGThe hon. Member will find in the Army List the names of those universities and schools which furnish a contingent of the Officers' Training Corps, and in the Cadet List the names of those schools which have Cadet Corps. The provision in Estimates for the State grant to the Officers' Training Corps during the current year is £79,950, and to the Cadet Corps. £15,000.
