§ Colonel DAYasked the Minister of Health how many houses the London County Council have built during the present year; and what number of these have been provided for the inhabitants of the borough of Southwark?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINDuring the year ended December, 1925, the number of houses completed by the London County Council was 1,982, of which I understand that 119 were let to Southwark inhabitants. I am informed that during the same period the number of lettings of new and existing houses was 3,021 of which 190 were to Southwark inhabitants.
