HC Deb 10 February 1926 vol 191 c1052W
Mr. R. MORRISON

asked the Minister of Labour how many piano workers were unemployed during January as compared with the same month last year?

Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND

I am unable to give separate statistics relating solely to piano workers. The number of insured persons in the musical instruments industry group, of which piano workers form part, recorded as unemployed in Great Britain on 25th January, 1926, was 1,295 as compared with 1,272 on 26th January, 1925.
