§ Colonel ASHLEYI am aware of the difficulties arising from these causes. In884W my reports on Private Bills I endeavour to give such assistance as I can to the Parliamentary Committees to which the Bills are referred, but, as my hon. Friend will realise, the decisions of the Committees must depend to a large extent upon the relevant local considerations involved, as set out in the evidence submitted to them.
