§ Colonel DAYasked the Minister of Pensions the number of men who have partially commuted their pension and have since failed to apply for pension on the remaining balance of such pension; what amount of arrears is in sum total now awaiting the claimants in respect of such partial commutation; and what methods are adopted in his Department in order to give publicity to arrears awaiting claimants?
Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYI would refer the hon. Member to the answer given to the hon. Member for Ardwick (Mr. Lowth) on the 17th December last, of which I am sending him a copy. No case of the kind referred to can be traced.
