Sir F. HALLasked the Home Secretary what was the number of persons killed or seriously injured during the year 1925, as the result of accidents in which motor-cycles carrying pillion passengers were involved; and if he will consider as to introducing legislation to prohibit this practice?

§ Colonel ASHLEYI have been asked to reply. I regret that I am not in possession of the information which my hon. and gallant Friend seeks and I am very doubtful whether it would be possible to obtain any reliable figures. On the information before me I do not consider that a case has been made out to justify the introduction of legislation prohibiting the practice.
