§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAasked the First Lord of the Admiralty, in view of the anxiety caused by the wording of paragraph 2 of A.F.O. 2859, which states that men are not entitled to claim a right to any rate of pay or other emolument under the existing scales in the event of reduced scales being introduced, whether he will give a definite undertaking that the pay of those serving in His Majesty's Navy on or before 1st October, 1925, shall not be reduced?
