asked the Secretary of State for Scotland the salaries paid to teachers in the West of Scotland Agricultural College and the salaries paid to teachers in similar colleges in England?

The salaries paid to members of the staff of the West of Scotland Agricultural College are given in the appended table. I am not in a position to give comparative figures for agricultural colleges in England in view especially of the varying duties and responsibilities attaching to particular posts which may or may not be similarly designated.
