GILMOURAssuming that the question refers wholly to Skye the Board of Agriculture for Scotland have on their lists 218 outstanding applications from ex-service men for new holdings and three outstanding applications from ex-service men for enlargements. The corresponding numbers for other applicants are 244 and 322 respectively. The reply to the last part of the question, taking the period from 1st November, 1924, is 67. None of the 67 men settled is in occupation of land forcibly taken by him.
