§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAasked the Minister of Pensions how many of the 187 men invalided from the Navy and Royal Marines with pulmonary tuberculosis during the yeas 1925, whose disease was considered not to be attributable to the service, claimed disability pensions from the Ministry of Pensions on the ground that the invaliding disability was attributable; and how many such claims were admitted to be well founded and a disability pension allowed?
§ Major TRYONI regret that the information desired is not available, as no separate record is kept of naval claims classified according to the year of discharge. I would point out that in order to establish a claim by any of the men referred to, it would be necessary to show that their disability was occasioned by their service during the Great War, that is, during the period prior to September, 1921.
