§ Mr. McNEILLI have consulted the principal Government Departments and am informed that the figures are not available, and could be obtained only by dot-ailed investigation of large numbers of contracts. I regret I do not feel justified in authorising the expenditure of the considerable amount of time, and labour which would be required for the collection of the information sought by the hon. and gallant Gentleman.
