§ Lieut.-Colonel ASHLEYThe approximate number of drivers' licences issued during the twelve months ending 30th November, 1924 (which is in effect the calendar year for this purpose) was 1,644,000, and the approximate amount received in respect of these licences was £411,000. The figures for the 11 months ending 31st October, 1925, are 1,810,000 and £452,000 respectively.
