Mr. DAVIDSONThe reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. I am sending the hon. Member a comparative table of the old and new rates of pay. As regards the last part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which the Prime Minister gave to the hon. Member for Chester-le-Street (Mr. Lawson) (OFFICIAL REPORT, 17th November, 1925, column 187).
