FALLEasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether, in view of the fact that service requirements demands the services of two unskilled acting surgery assistants in the surgery of His Majesty's Dockyard at Portsmouth, he will authorise them to be paid at the new minimum rate of pay for surgery assistants laid down in A.F.O. 2676 of 1924, but without the additional increments?
Mr. DAVIDSONService requirements are adequately met by the arrangement at present in force. It is not proposed therefore to replace the two men now employed by qualified surgery assistants.
