§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREI am not aware of any recent evictions or attempted evictions such as are purported to be described in the question, with the exception of the removal of a few Masai, to which reference was made in the reply954W given to the hon. and learned Member for Orkney (Sir R. Hamilton) on the 15th December; nor do I think the suggestion regarding a certificate by the principal medical officer is a practicable one.
