§ Mr. LOWTHasked the Minister of Pensions whether the papers transferred to the Ministry by the Ministry of National 643W Service giving particulars of recruits under the Compulsory Service and Enlistment Acts during the War have been destroyed; and, if not, what purpose is served by retaining the papers?
Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYThe only documents relating to individual men transferred from the Ministry of National Service to the Ministry were those of men who did not in fact serve during the great War. These documents have already been destroyed.
