§ Sir J. NALLasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that fees of 10s. to £5 per annum have been charged for licences issued to persons who have proved to his satisfaction that the sole object of obtaining the licence was to enable them to conduct experiments in wireless telegraphy; and whether, in view of the provisions of Section 2 (1) of the Act, he will say what steps he proposes to take?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONI am advised that the practice of charging fees for experimental wireless licences is not contrary to the provisions of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1904. I may add that the scale of fees was reduced in January.
