Mr. LANSBUPYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the persistent refusal of the Poulton-le-Fylde Urban District Council to carry out the Regulations made under the Gas Regulations Act; and will he cause inquiries to be made and take the necessary steps to enforce the observance of these Regulations?

CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe Board of Trade have received a complaint that the Poulton-le-Fylde Urban District Council failed to publish in the manner prescribed by the Gas Referees certain documents relating to the quality of gas supplied by them during the quarter2088W ended 31st December last. The Board have been in communication with the council in the matter, and are assured that the Regulations will be complied with in future.
