§ Captain WALLACEasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the annoyance caused by motor omnibuses and other solid-tyred vehicles travelling at a high speed in narrow residential roads, especially after 11 p.m.; and if he will take steps to restrict the speed of such vehicles in residential roads under 50 feet wide?
§ Colonel ASHLEYI have, from time to time, received various representations from different quarters regarding the speeds of heavy motor vehicles. I think, however, that the remedy for my hon. and gallant Friend's complaint lies, not in the imposition of new speed restrictions, but rather in a closer observance of the maximum speeds already laid down under existing enactments and regulations.
