MITCHELL-THOMSONTelegraph delivery offices do not correspond with the postal delivery offices which are indicated by the postal district numbers, and the use of those numbers in the addresses of telegrams is consequently unnecessary. This is duly notified on page 85 of the "Post Office Guide." In these circumstances, I regret that I can see no good reason for transmitting postal district numbers in telegrams free of charge.
