§ Mr. CECIL WILSONasked the Minister of Labour the number of insured males and females, respectively, who are under 18 years of age, over 60 but under 65, and over 65; and, if not, whether he can arrange for the information to be obtained at some time during the present Parliament?
§ Mr. BETTERTONThe number of young persons under the age of 18 who are insured under the Unemployment Insurance Acts in Great Britain is 908,390 (boys 537,130 and girls 371,260). I am unable to give the number of insured persons over 60 or 65 years of age, and it would involve considerable expense to ascertain this number.
