§ Sir K. WOODThe number of houses completed during the period let January to 31st May, 1925, under the Housing Acts was 35,627. Of these 9,096 are in the areas of rural district councils. The numbers of houses under construction on the 1st instant in the areas of boroughs and urban districts, and in rural districts were 47,330 and 13,376 respectively. 93,266 houses in boroughs and urban districts and 24,120 in rural districts have been authorised but not yet commenced.
