§ Mr. FENBYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he is aware that there are now about 5,000 refugees in the Tangier international zone, and that the funds at the disposal of the British Red Crescent Society for the maintenance of these people are now practically exhausted; and whether he will consider bringing the condition of these people to the notice of the Powers signatory to the Tangier convention with a view to joint action for their relief?
Mr. SAMUELRelief work at Tangier is a matter for the newly-created international administration, and His Majesty's Government regret that they do not think they can properly take action in the sense suggested.
