§ Mr. GROVESasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the statement of the chief medical officer of the Ministry on the 1924 Report on Public Health and Medical Subjects, that no sound progress can be made in the reduction of maternal mortality apart from ante-natal super-vision, he will take immediate steps to represent to all local authorities to establish such clinics and provide adequate medical advice and efficient institutional treatment where necessary?
