§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe revenue from Press telegrams was £134,000 in 1920–21, £131,000 in 1921–22, £110,000 in 1922–23, £91,000 in 1923–24, and £83,00068W in 1924–25. The cost of dealing with Press traffic can only be ascertained by apportionment, and definite figures for each of the last five years are not available; at the present time the cost, so ascertained, exceeds the revenue by about £250,000.
